Keeping Our School Safe
I hope you all continue to be staying safe. I would like to start by thanking you all for your continued support during these uncertain and changing times. We are grateful to all those who have contacted us to keep us informed of ‘home life’ and provide us with feedback on what is going well and what could be better. Our committed team of staff are working tirelessly to do our very best for every student.
The government have now provided details and guidance for the face to face support for Year 10 students and set the expectation for this to be available from Monday 15th June for no more than a quarter of the cohort at any time. I previously wrote of our belief in looking after our staff and our students and getting the offer right for them – this continues to be our driving force. At Robert Sutton Voluntary Academy we are in a position to offer face to face sessions for Year 10 week beginning Monday 15th June. I know this will raise many questions with parents and carers of children in these cohorts and we have been working hard to produce structures, processes and documentation that will provide you with detail and clarity. The face to face support for Year 10 does not mean that we will lose sight of the students continuing to learn remotely or those who require access to our In-School Offer. Both of these offers remain high priority and will sit alongside this new offer in terms of commitment from our staff.
Please see below further details about all of our offers including a summary of how each offer will operate.
