Acting Headteacher Update – 21st April 2020

Yesterday was a busy first day of the half term.

Hopefully we will have helped solve any problems that your child may have experienced with Firefly – if you are having any issues accessing work on Firefly please email firefly@robertsutton.staffs.sch.uk

To help to support your child – Miss Scott has created a very helpful booklet that can be downloaded here – BRS Journal new.pdf or the editable version can be downloaded here – BRS Journal new.pub Whilst this is an optional resource getting your child to keep a journal is a great way of keeping track of the day and establishing a great routine.

Whilst school is closed we have been continuing to work on improving our school. I know that you will agree that Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic Voluntary Academy is a very special place to be. As a great school we are fully committed to looking at new and innovative ways to care and support all our students. As part of this, I wanted to let you know that we are considering introducing Therapy and Reading Dogs into school ready for September 2020 – you can read more about this here:

Have a great day!
